Masterclass: Crowdfunding Animation med Mikkel Mainz

I denne masterclass deler Mikkel Mainz sine erfaringer med crowdfunding som finansieringsform for animationsprojekter. Med udgangspunkt i succesen Tales of Alethrion, giver Mikkel et indblik i processen, mulighederne og de udfordringer, der følger med at engagere publikum som medproducenter.
Deltagerne får en praktisk forståelse af, hvordan man planlægger en kampagne, opbygger et community og kommunikerer sin vision – værdifuld viden for enhver, der overvejer alternative finansieringsveje til deres egne projekter. Masterclassen er en del af vores Animation Producer-program på Filmværksted Viborg.

Om Mikkel Mainz

Mikkel Mainz er animationsfilmsinstruktør og har grundlagt animationsfirmaerne Sun Creature, Skjald, og Skjaldborn. Han er specialiseret i 2D animerede tegnefilm til både børn og voksne. Senest har han instrueret serien HØJ til Fredagstamtam, og har også været med til at lave både MESTERLIGE MONSTERBØRN og IVANDOE, for bare at nævne et par af hans andre produktioner. Hans gennembrud var webserien TALES OF ALETHRION på YouTube, der rejste over 4 millioner kr. på Kickstarter, og som nu har over 220.000 visninger på samtlige platforme. Han har også altid undervist, bl.a. på The Animation Workshop i Viborg.

Masterclass: Crowdfunding with Mikkel Mainz

About Mikkel Mainz

Mikkel Mainz is an animation director and founder of the studios Sun Creature, Skjald, and Skjaldborn. He specializes in 2D animated films for both children and adults. Most recently, he directed the series HØJ for Fredagstamtam, and has also contributed to productions such as MESTERLIGE MONSTERBØRN and IVANDOE, to name just a few. His breakthrough came with the web series TALES OF ALETHRION on YouTube, which raised over 4 million DKK on Kickstarter and now has over 220,000 views across platforms. He is also a dedicated educator, having taught at The Animation Workshop in Viborg.
