Forår
Inside an old farmhouse, something is a foot. An old ritual. A half-eaten meal, a fly flits by, a speck of dust floats silently in the sunlight gushing through small grimy windowpanes. In the next room a woman noisily prepares a small offering. Biscuits and apple slices on a plate. It is custom to appease the house sprit with offerings such as these. For good fortune.
Forår is a short film rooted in Danish folklore. The incredible drawings are base on the nature and an old house in Thyholm, where the director lived. Pernille has cought the magic of this place.
